      Total chaos. Money seems to flow freely but not to employees. No orientation, dont even know for sure who my boss is.

      Pros

      I worry about having a job next week. Everything is out of control

      Cons

      Everyone is very careful to chant the company line for fear of losing their jobs. Bosses are in California, but employees are all over the world. No one is able to reach your boss easily. For example there are 5 people in my office and every single person has a different boss. This only keeps everything in chaos

      Pros

      Meaningful work. The idea of the company and the population it serves has many needs, certainly some departments must be run well.

      Cons

      Exploit employees and consider them disposable. No annual increases. Workloads are much heavier than competing organizations with less pay. Even though the company is not for profit, you should still take care of your employees and value their hard efforts

      The people you can connect with and work that you do is really rewarding.

      Cons

      Company Politics play too big of a role and trickle down to everyone. This can make it seem a rather unstable and hostile work environment where rumors spread easily.
