Pros

AHF really values their employees wellbeing. The culture is supportive and very positive. Management is also very approachable and dedicated to our growth. Never have I felt like an opportunity is out of reach or impossible.

Cons

Certain seasons can get overwhelming, but it is always rewarding to see all the lives we impact. I would love to see AHF have a more dominant social media presence. Outreach to Gen Z could be improved.

AIDS Healthcare Foundation is a mission-driven organization that values the input of all employees; early on, you feel that you are part of an organization that helps deliver vital health services to those most in need, medically undererved Americans living with HIV. You know your job, irrespective of what department, has an ultimate goal. On the job, you have a great opportunity to develop skills and gain knowledge about healthcare policy and operations. You also never have a dull day. Project success often requires collaboration with teams across the organization, providing more opportunites to learn from your colleagues and learn about how AHF operates. Junior employees have direct access to senior managers throughout the organization. Senior managers do not micromanage junior employees. Rather, they empower junior team members to take initiative on projects by entrusting them with increasing levels of responsibility.

Cons

To date, I have only had postive experiences in my time at AHF.
