Pros
Handed a large book of clients, work from home, great health insurance
Cons
Company changes comp plan monthly. They have departments fighting each other, ridiculous assets goals that increase each year. It is almost impossible to make money at this company. Transfers in take months when it should take a couple of days. Company will not pay on anything unless its new assets coming in. Its an environment where you have to bring money in to the "product of the month" and if it drags out to long, you will no longer get paid on it. If this is your first job as an adviser you will do okay, but if you come from the full service side you will be at shock that they are still in business. Ask manager about turnover before making the mistake of working here, there is a reason every client you meet tells them you are their 5th adviser in 5 yrs.
