Pros

good benefits, the benefits are the only thing worth staying for as their medical and dental benefits are very good compared to many others.

Cons

have gone downhill in recent years. Sole purpose seems to be to get rid of seasoned, experienced and knowlegeable employess to have them replaces with unqualified temp workers for a much lower wage. If they have no legitimate reason they will invent one. the VAST majority of front line employess are walking on eggshells and terrified that they next. Very similiar tactics to what RBC is doing....sad, as at one time this was a truly great company. The customers are being forced into lengthy hold times as they have gotten rid of many. The systems used are substandard and rarely, if ever, work properly

Air Miles Just Like High School

Pros

Getting AM for your anniversary

Cons

If you want to re-visit high school and its cliquiness, apply to Air Miles. This is a highly political environment so advancement has nothing to do with skills, performance, or ability. Advancement is about how much you kiss you know what. There is a tremendous atmosphere of CYA and playing it safe by keeping a low profile. The specialists are all fearful of losing there jobs and play along with telling the managment team what they want to hear. YES they keep winning awards, the culture is not as good as it appears to be. The VP in Customer Care is very fake.

Don't let them fool you; look up LoyaltyOne

Pros

They had an amazing office space- who knows they may have run that into the ground now too.

Cons

This is their attempt at a fresh start for glassdoor reviews after the horribly rated parent company LoyaltyOne was dissolved. Read the reviews there. AIR MILES has always existed as a brand and is/was their primary business. The only thing that has changed is dropping the name LoyaltyOne and the sell-off of a sister company. Beware of this attempt to put lipstick on a pig.

AIR MILES Response
5y
Our office remains a space where our Associates feel comfortable and inspired, however, as COVID-19 evolved into a global health concern, we made the decision to ask all Associates to work from home until further notice. With respect to your comment about LoyaltyOne having been dissolved- that is incorrect. There have been a lot of changes to LoyaltyOne and at one time, it owned and operated three programs – AIR MILES, Precima and Brand Loyalty. As such, the LoyaltyOne Glassdoor page speaks to these other programs. With LoyaltyOne undergoing several changes this past year, including the divestiture of Precima, we created a Glassdoor page specifically for AIR MILES. Over the past few years we have been more intentional about not only communicating our vision, but giving our Associates the opportunity to shape it. We encourage anyone looking to join our teams to stay up-to-date with the latest news and events on our social pages, get to know our people, and find out firsthand what makes AIR MILES such a great place to work.
