-Competitive hourly wage -As an academic tutor, job is different from day-to-day, especially if you tutor multiple subjects (although you're in the same office every day, it's up to you to make the sessions as upbeat or varied as you'd like) -Kind and competent colleagues -Excellent on-the-job learning about dealing with difficult parents/clients -Great lesson materials and resources in the office -Leadership staff trusts you to do your job/ slim to no micromanaging

Cons

-Hard to balance work/life due to afternoon/evening/weekend hours -Takes time to develop a consistent and desired number of weekly hours (1-2 months)
