Pros

I love tutoring here! Coworkers are fun. Students are motivated. Leadership is engaged and open to feedback. Offices are beautiful, friendly, and well-stocked with snacks. I feel supported by the team, yet I'm responsible and autonomous in my work. My schedule is flexible, and I'm encouraged to explore new opportunities and take on projects that interest me.

Cons

I can't think of any cons. Even the unorthodox schedule is great because I can easily schedule around any other activities that I'm interested in.

Pros

AJ Tutoring is the best in its field for teachers that are passionate about their craft and want a professional place in which to practice it. The training and resources are like nothing I have experienced in this industry. Teaching skills are highly valued and great performances are rewarded with exceptional compensation. There is a collaborative vibe among the tutors in the office as each does his or her best to provide constructive advice and feedback to others. The leadership team is extremely supportive and helps tutors "build their practice" of clients so that tutors can focus on what is most important to them -- teaching.

Cons

Working as a tutor requires an unorthodox schedule (this is not an 8-to-5 job), but this is balanced with the scheduling autonomy that tutors are given.
