You learn a whole lot from this company, you meet great people that's IT!

Cons

I worked for Torrance PBS office before it was closed! Work environment was strict, and stressful. AMR does not appreciate their employees they are only after the money money money! Management has preferences, I applied after being laid off due to the office being closed down at rancho and the director didn't surprise me! I have all experience to qualify for the job yet she went on to try to hire someone from her old team! Rumors are she's trying to hire her old team back!! If you have no connects your not getting in with management!

Cons

Management is a boys club with no women allowed. Was a supervisor for years and watched men with less experience and bad patient care be promoted above me. No women in clinical leader roles, no program to help those who want to advance. Management bonus plan is a joke and even when we should have gotten the bonus their was always an excuse not to pay but the CEO and GM always got there bonus pay. Would not be surprised if the Departmentof Labor hits them hard for pay violations all over the place. If you tell your employees you will do something just do it. There is no trust in management anymore.

Pros

There's a lot you can do in both the transfer and 911 systems. It's really fun to do special events. The employees are fun to work with.

Cons

Pay isnt the best and shifts, management and corporate can be frustrating. They will screw you with late calls all the time.
