Pros

Busy EMS system which is priceless experience.

Cons

Where to start? I worked there for 4 years, was an FTO, etc. AMR does not care about their employees, and only the money made. You'll soon see it. Also, prop 11 puts it out there. They don't want you to take breaks at all during 24 hour shifts, they try to pay you as minimal as possible and cut corners wherever they can to save money. Most of their field emts and Paramedics lack any credible knowledge and are pretty terrible, to be honest.
