Pros

- There are some great people with amazing talent. - The work is stuck so far in the past that if you've worked at a modern company prior you will find the workload not only easy, but light. - You'll never get called afterhours or have to work overtime since you only have a few hours of a work a week anyways. - There is an over access of training. So, you will be more then prepared to be submersed in the work/culture by the time you finally get work.

Cons

This is a completely unprofessional company that is stuck in the past. The applications, the systems, procedures and even the culture is all out of date. If you have worked at any modern company you'll have a hard time fitting in. Upper management is not open to change, and if you bring anything up you will get bullied into submission. People with longevity at the company are promoted rather then people with skill; and if you do show skill they will make sure to either stiffen your creativity until you don't make any more suggestions, or steal your idea as their own. Culture is overall stuck in the past. There is no sense of diversity in their hiring or in the way they run their business. People feel uncomfortable to bring their whole self to work unless they fit into the conservative box ANB represents. They also treat WFH like a reward and not a benefit - you can be denied flexible work, and it is always being threatened to be removed. So, there is never a guarantee you will have remote flexibility. Their pay and benefits are below average. They have very restrictive or non-existent WFH practices. There is no way for advancement unless you suck up to upper management. Everything is outdated, and you will have zero creativity at the job. Overall this is not a great place to work if you want to pursue any career advancement at all. If you live close, don't mind coming into an office, don't want to grow your career, want easy work and don't mind getting paid below average then this place could work for you. It's very easy work with some decent people. But outside of that it's not worth your time.

Pros

The company cares a lot about the employees and customers. Leadership is very invested and involved in daily activity. This all leads to a culture focused on service, community, and coaching. There are great benefits beyond just base pay, especially as you grow within the company, including attending conferences, educational opportunities, purchasing stock, profit and performance bonus, generous time off, etc. Additionally, if you show interest in getting involved in special projects and committees, there is ample opportunity to get involved in something beyond just your daily duties and help make change/improvements happen. Finally, it’s very much a transparent, team-oriented atmosphere and feels like a stable, secure, and enjoyable environment where each day brings new challenges to conquer.

Cons

Something that the company is actively working on is implementing more consistent training and better procedures. This is a work in progress and takes time. Progress is a never-ending list, but luckily willing employees can be involved in that improvement. This isn’t the best place to work if you think you can come in and advance really quickly. The company understandably wants to make sure you master what you’re doing and prove yourself before promoting, but that said, there are lots of internal transfer and growth opportunities. You just have to be patient, which pays off in the end.
