      Pros

      The people and management. Two of the leadership team in particular are amazing. Excellent communicators. They really listen and empower their teams to act. We are seeing large changes in the operations side of the business really nailing down processes and procedures. We've just hired several new s/w engineers to work on projects and integrate/streamline our older software. Also, the management is very flexible, allowing employees to work various schedules to meet their needs. Benefits are good and we just increased PTO to four weeks a year for everyone plus holidays.

      Cons

      We've had some turn over this year. Not as many sales as hoped, but the pipeline is long and very encouraging.

      Don't, just don't, especially if you have to relo and have to quit a good job

      Pros

      Close-knit, able to live in the Columbia Gorge (a big pro if you are a windsurfer or kiteboarder), other companies in the area.

      Cons

      Well, first off the CEO lied to me regarding how many of their products they've sold. There's no investment in maturing the product or bringing what was a pretty cool idea ~15-20 years ago up to date. No real clients. Funding (and getting a regular paycheck) is uncertain. The company is a "zombie" - completely crashing at times but never fully dying off. I'm not sure if anyone currently there has full knowledge of how the s/w works. A lot of good, essential, loyal people have had to walk away. No real career opportunities, unless you count getting to know other people in the area who work at other small aerospace companies in the area and jump to a new job after 2-3 years.
