Pros
It’s a family environment, where everyone knows each other. Even the President, now retired, knew every single employee and it wasn’t uncommon to see him out on the production floor.
Cons
‘Communication‘ is NOT in any managers the vocabulary. Several VPs were in cliques, Just for sport, one of the cliques had a tendency to bully their employees. Last complaint, but my biggest aggravation, would be their intolerance for any employee who has a disability. Zero resources are provided to management so they know how to legally interact with an employee who is disabled, not to mention that the building itself is no where close to being ADA friendly.
