Increases aren’t guaranteed every year

Every office is different. Ours had a couple bad apples that slowed down what we were doing. If you don't sell, you're not going to get the best leads. Some people think thats unfair.. If you do, sales probably isn't for you. Put up or shut up. Not competitive in pricing Hours can be long and unpredictable. (but you also have considerable downtime in the day.)

Work on call night shifts and holidsays

Extremely overbearing company “policies” that control every aspect of your day while being consistently disrespectful as to an employee’s worth. Managerial staff is stretched too thin and are often “ping pong balls in a wind storm” and will forget that they failed to give you information critical to your success. Benefits package is insanely expensive as ARS does not contribute to health, dental, or vision and every paycheck is deducted to pay for it. Cost range for health only from $15/check to $150/check when adding spouse only. Dispatchers are aloof and often fail to return calls, screen potential leads, and communicate with others well. Cronyism runs amuck and leads that are clearly not qualified are handed to new staff members. Deceptive with regards to scope of position and compensation. Hiring process is lengthy and drawn out and accordingly deceptive. Overall lack of respect for your time as they expect all your time to be their time.

You are recorded on every call. The training is mediocre and you are required to work overtime with no extra pay.

Plenty of them. The pay was hedious. I had been with the company for over a year and yet the company did NOT ever do a performance review in which a good performer gets a pay raise and etc. The comission check was terrible. Even on the months where I was top performer making $50k revenue for the company on a monthly basis. I say that because I have first hand had jobs where I got paid more commission even on the months where I was not top performer. The sales meetings were far beyond pathetic. No structure whatsoever. Their sales meetings were like being at a 12 Step Al-Anon meeting or Depression Bipolar Support group meeting. What's even worse is that ARS rescue rooter's mission statement or their sales pitch is... "ARS/Rescue Rooter Houston provides professional air conditioning, heating, plumbing, & insulation services. We require background checks & drug tests on all employees. Emergency service available 24/7" Here's the kicker behind this mission statement and sales pitch that you train us sales people to say to the customer. Is the fact that this company hired an employee who has at least 23-33 criminal records under his name. Which consist of multiple thefts, multiple drug/alcohol related charged, domestic violence charges and many more. In other words the company is flat out lying to the public. Making it be a hazardous workplace when the company hires a convict in their company
