Pros

Nice place to work, nice friendly atmosphere and all work was shared fairly between employees. the work was fairly easy and the running of the store was very well organised.

Cons

very very hot in the store and was very small so it was hard to move around when it got busy.

Pros

Nice people, nice atmosphere The company is facing challenges in an industry dominated by globalised, new media savyy giants. However, the pressure on employees is relative and hierarchy is loose. There is space for everyone to express their opinion in a fairly equal manner. New ideas and new projects are welcome.

Cons

Be armed with patience and diplomacy Things are slow and require many steps, many discussions, many stakeholders around the table. Discussion can happen even after buy-in, which implies you will need to deal with flipping coins and last minutes changes on a regular basis.

Pros

Interesting and great work when the shop has heavy footfall Experience gain in biometric analysis (FootID) Excellent place to work as a runner

Cons

No incentives for the staff Poor pay Short break for working hours Higher management passes messages through supervisors onto staff instead of directly speaking with them (places themselves above floor staff) Not much room for career opportunities outwith the shop Poor scheduling for rota makes it hard to balance work with life.
