Pros
Great company if you are entrepreneurial. Ideas to improve the business are welcomed at all levels. We've only had stores now for 3 years, so naturally, there are processes still in development. There is rapid store expansion and if you run a smart, profitable business, you can get internally promoted quickly. One of our DMs came from stores! Pay is competitive. Our Director of Retail seems to have a clear vision, very charismatic and inspiring. You can believe in the products. I think our stores are great..I run an outlet but it could be a full-price store, very elevated, premium feel and the smaller size store makes it easier to connect with our customers and honestly, we get out quicker after closing :) Work life balance is good they don't work us like dogs here, no overnights, floor-set moves are reasonable.
Cons
The downside of rapid expansion is you may not get all the individual development you would like from your DM, as they are constantly opening stores, recruiting, etc. Apparel remains difficult to gain traction. Our incentive plan, pretty much our bonus program, holds much promise as it incentives entire team but we haven't hit it often to be fully motivating. If you are a robot and need a crystal-clear daily playbook like some other companies have, this may not be for you (though communication has improved dramatically this year).
