Pros

Stability, company has been around for 100+ years. Very deep pockets. Spends a ton of money, just not on their employees.

Cons

This company has an ancient segregated way of thinking. The "good olé boy" mentality is alive and I do not recommend working here. I'm dissapointed in the lack of African Americans being considered for leadership positions, specifically in the network organizations (C&E, NP&E, Labs etc). As a level 1 manager in the wireless network build dept, there are zero African Americans in level 2 or above management roles in Northern California. This region produces a boat load of revenue for the company. I've even seen non employee contract staff given leadership positions over qualified African Americans with years of company experience. What it boils down to is if you enjoy being discriminated against because of the color of your skin no matter how hard you work this place is perfect for you, NOT!!!!

Pros

Good pay with an extremely stable company. The benefits are decent, but the salaried bonus is great. Lots of diversity for groups to work in.

Cons

Very large company that can suffer from the same things that other large companies suffer from. Namely, it is very easy to get lost in the sea of people.

Pros

The money is pretty decent, if you are younger it is a great place to start a career. Good benefits If you are older and/or been doing telecommunications work prior do not come.

Cons

AT&T offers job security as a stable company. There are many opportunities to learn and expand your knowledge through company offered training courses and tuition reimbursement.
