Pros
Pros? It's a job I suppose. Can make good money if you're willing to put the hours in.
Cons
Cons? Hours, working conditions, lack of care for employees. Lot's of hours on every project. Why? Perhaps because they're under quoted, or poorly managed in the front end.. Working conditions in the shop can be bad. Loud, also requiring putting parts of the body or the entire body in dangerous places or dangerous heights. People in the shop are often subjected to excess levels of carbon monoxide from aging forklift fleet. One was sent to hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning in 2018. Company claims to care for employees but when it gets down to it they're always prepared to sacrifice people for the project. If you're looking for any type of work/life balance, look elsewhere.
