      Pros

      I honestly can't think of a pro that was consistent across the company.

      Cons

      Career advancement was limited by who you knew and whom your team leader was. There was ineffective communication between management and staff, with no indication of improvement. The company was shifting towards a management company, rather that a premier engineering company.

      Pros

      Wonderful, welcoming environment with a focus on continual improvement. Culture is exceptional; a company that truly cares for each individual. It takes great care of employees like you'd expect a utility to but aren't stuck in the past like so many.

      Cons

      There's a lot of consensus building here so if you prefer the "wild west" it might not be a good fit.

      Pros

      Very stable utility company. The executive leadership team are competent and have great visions for the company's future. On the individual contributor level, there are opportunities to work on high profile projects.

      Cons

      Not sure about other professionals, but the base pay is low for engineers. Technical skills are not very valued here. Many engineers switch to managerial or other positions later.
