      Pros

      For the year I have been with ATHENA Consulting, it has been empowering to be a part of the changes and growth we have had. My manager encourages feedback and ideas from her team and implements them if applicable. I feel comfortable asking for help and am excited to continue to grow here.

      Cons

      Being fully remote can become lonely at times, but ATHENA does a great job at keeping company morale high by having fun on our Operations calls. Even though I am miles away, I feel closer connected to my team than I have ever felt.

      Pros

      When I joined ATHENA, I started out with a modest pay and part-time. As discouraging as it was, I knew I would be in an atmosphere that would allow me to learn from my co-workers and further develop my skills. After four months or so, I was given a raise and upgraded to a full-time employee (with benefits). My career confidence has bolstered because of ATHENA.

      I can honestly say, no negative opinions come to mind when I think of ATHENA.

      Pros

      Since I was hired by Athena, my experience has been great. I must admit, I was definitely a little hesitant at first, because I was unsure and unknowledgeable about working with a staffing firm. However, my recruiter, Mrs. Gillispie was more than gracious in guiding me through the process and I've enjoyed my time as a Navigator.

      Cons

      The only "con" that comes to mind, was a freak accident with my check during a pay period in late 2014. However, Athena was very diligent in handeling the issue and was transparent with me through the entire process. They even hand delivered to the check to my home mailbox, which I greatly appreciated because I would have had to take two buses to get to their office in Gaithersburg.
