      Pros

      If you LOVE industrial software and know how to sell to the LoB; then AVEVA is a fit. It's critical that you can penetrate: engineering, operations, reliability, automation, maintenance and IOT LOB's. Then, IT is last on the list, prior to procurement. If you are ACTUALLY a blue chip AE, then you will make some MAJOR money here. I started 4 years ago and averaged 320% of quota a year.

      Cons

      You can't learn this overnight. Don't expect to, just sell it.

      A Really Good company to work for once, then it all changed

      Pros

      - Used to be a really nice, friendly, fair company to work for. This all changed in 2016 - Local people fine but offset by extreme toxicity in higher corporate culture and focus on short term targets - You can use them to get a name on your CV (but don't become attached)

      Cons

      - Do not pay well - Expect a lot from you for free in terms of time, travel and work stress - Do not care if you drop dead, figuratively or literally - Terrible corporate culture - Extremely woke, at the expense of ability to do the job - Outdated products - Outdated management style - Awful HR - I received legal threats for non-return of my laptop after leaving, problem being I had handed it to my manager upon leaving the company 2 months earlier. Why act like that? - Took me some time to recover psychologically from the extreme stress they caused. No job is worth that.
