      Great place to learn and advance but company executives (Tampa) doesn't care about anything but the bottom line.

      Pros

      They are the biggest and a great place to advance your career. They have great health benefits and are on the leading edge of technology.

      Cons

      AVI-SPL is a BIG company, the biggest in AV. Doing jobs all over the nation is problematic though still, you can not guarantee a level of service across all offices which is very frustrating. On top of this they have cut benefits for many employees that we were promised would not change during the acquisition of our smaller company, such as cell phone reimbursement (cut more than 2/3 from $100 a month to $30 a month).

      -Buying power from the best vendors in the buisness -Variety of projects, from Stadiums, to theaters, to simple collaboration rooms -Knowledge base of fellow employees

      Cons

      -The right design isn't always in the best interest of the customer -Big corporate structure = bureaucracy -Too many procedures while performing work -Rebates often dictate the outcome of design. It's not always the right fit. -No bonuses

      Great Team work within teams as well as across multiple teams. Good growth opportunities. New training courses being offered and promoted. Ability to work remote.

      Unsure at this time. Have only been here a few months.
