      You think things are great then the rug is pulled out

      Pros

      The people in the company are great they truly made the experience worthwhile. I was treated with respect and given reasonable expectations on my performance.

      Cons

      Owned by an investment company, THEY call the shots. Executive leadership is very fractured and does not make the tough decisions early, they get there eventually but the damage is already done. Back end systems are very dated and cannot prove useful business information resulting in many issues.

      Getting a paycheck, may get sold which could change things.

      Everything- the way people are treated, big boys club, arrogant leadership, little advancement, lack of security, etc

      Pros

      I honestly cannot think of anything positive about AVI-SPL; this was the most stressful job I've ever had with employers who were just short of bullies at best.

      Cons

      Lots of processes - zero execution. They look for any and all ways to avoid paying commission or obligations. I was laid off with no notice - no severance - and no means by which to settle my expense accounts, including no means by which they paid to have their equipment shipped back to Tampa. Treat employees like commodities.
