This is really the only gripe I have - and it's the new HR team. I'm sure there are growing pains with any new team, but I am honestly really disappointed with the lack of transparency with that team and how unprofessional they have been to work with. It takes several days to get a response from anyone out of that group, and it's clear that the team doesn't really know what they're doing and those delays in response are due to several emails bouncing between people in the HR group trying to figure out how to respond. There's very little accountability or follow-through. When you do finally get a response, it's usually just a cookie-cutter response from someone who clearly didn't understand the question, or worse, understand our industry. HR really needs to do better and stop hiding from the employees.
