      Pros

      We do very cutting edge interesting work for high profile clients. I have the opportunity to work with some of the best people in this industry.

      Cons

      There seems to be a lack of understanding on an executive level regarding what our segment of the industry involves and what we have to do on a daily basis. Our benefits are not as robust as other industries. There is a lack of communication between the executive/corporate office and the various satellite offices. Decisions seem to be made in a "Corporate Vacuum" and these decisions are not communicated to the offices.

      Having the CEO come to your local office.

      That same CEO not introducing himself or thanking his employees that do not have a management title.

      Pros

      I have enjoyed a great work environment, and worked with a lot of great people. Depending on your team, hours and location have been somewhat flexible as long as the necessary work is being completed on time and under budget. Employee training has been exemplary with almost any opportunity requested and within reason for the position have been approved and encouraged.

      Cons

      It has proven very difficult to receive pay increase even with exemplary performance. There have been recent improvements to benefits including an option for a yearly increase, but it is still fairly minor. That seems to be pervasive in this industry in general however, where one must leave to a competitor to receive any significant pay increase. There have been a few projects that were not handled well at all at the PM position, but thankfully these seem to be the minority of cases.
