The management takes advantage of anyone who is kind enough or those who cannot say no to orders and requests. If you're that kind of person, like me, expect working extended hours without getting paid overtime pay. You don't even get the appreciation you deserve and importance in the company.

Management was extremely disorganized and didn't seem like they had my interests in mind. My health benefits were given to me 5 months late, phone plan reimbursement was promised but never given after 3 years of work, you basically have to hound them about getting anything that they've said they would give you. Dealing with AV stuff in general is often very stressful when equipment stops working for absolutely no reason or the client asks for different gear right before the show.
