Dictatorial Leadership with no value placed on people

Pros

Work in nice hotels, lots of good people at mid management and lower levels.

Cons

Company is run dictatorially from the top down, micro managed by CEO who insists on making every decision. No trust of leadership learning to managers with no real authority or voice. Promises not kept., especially regarding salary increases.

Pros

The management is a tremendous help if you need it. The company as a whole believes in teaching you everything you can to grow. The owner sincerely cares and is willing to create positions to keep you on if he feels that you are doing your best. Great benefits.

Cons

Seasonal highs and lows. Slow growth opportunity unless pressed upon by upper management. Unknown positions as AVMS is a contractor and may loose the contract with the hotel, in turn you loose your job.
