Pros

- Nice location - Nice cause (help diabetics) - Abbott's brand name

Cons

- No work life balance (on average people work 9-10 hours a day, in some divisions it is 10-12 hours) - Non functional HR, cultural surveys are done only for namesake, no solid actions taken to improve work culture - Very wide disparity in salary at the same grade level - Easy to get promoted in some divisions and in others, it takes forever - Directors with very poor track record of retaining their staff continue to get promoted

Pros

Lots of flexibility. Good pay. Benefits were fantastic.

Cons

Poor management in the northwest, other districts seemed fine and I actually had other district managers warn me of the poor management and high turn-over in the northwest.
