      Poor management/hiring practices

      Pros

      Free soda, coffee, and fruit Ping pong table and shuffle board Still better than fast food

      Cons

      Good employees leave, bad employees never get fired Management doesn't understand the job, and so hire people who can't do the job They can't decide if the operations department should be technical or simply a call center trying to churn through calls as fast as possible. Understaffed and they focus on hold times and case-time-to-resolution that there isn't time for people to actually learn how to support the products. Practically no training, and what is there is not focused on how to support the product.

      Nice office space, free fruit and LaCroix

      Cons

      No exchange of ideas, departments act more like "cliches", employees are asked to just follow directions, not to provide ideas or think outside the box. No real opportunity to grow within company, management picks favorites and those are the only people they listen to. Employees are not allowed to contribute and customers are also not appreciated or listened too either. For a tech company, ABILITY is very closed minded and harsh. Not a collaborative environment, they promise a lot and deliver very little.

ABILITY is a fast growing company and that brings opportunity, but it also increases the need for collaboration and transparency, as well as listening.       Good Company Overall --Things Heading in the Right Direction

      Pros

      Company is growing at an extremely fast pace. In the last 2.5 years since joining ABILITY, I believe the company has more than doubled in size for both sales and number of employees.

      Cons

      Company is growing at extremely fast pace (same comment as the pro). Things happen here at a lightning speed and due to this fast pace of growth the processes are not always in place and this can cause chaos. Sometime I feel I am working at a startup but things seem to be getting better. Though the culture at the office is getting much better it still needs improvement.
