Pros

I love the consistent hours, insurance benefits, PTO, retirement options and service delivery that this company offers. In most therapy businesses, hours and pay are variable based clients' commitment to schedule. ABLE takes the uncertainty out of the equation. I know my schedule and I know how much PTO I have so it makes managing my family/work balance easy. I also appreciate the commitment that ABLE has to our clients and staff. The model of service delivery they have is very unique and is the missing puzzle piece for many special needs families. Compared to other ABA therapy companies, I think our employment package exceeds by far the benefits offered elsewhere. Part of my position is to get into the community to find out what the families we serve are most in need of. This engagement is important because the public view on special needs and what the government, private insurances, nonprofits and school systems are doing to to assist families changes everyday. Often times when I am attending community resource fairs, autism specific events, state medicaid seminars or other insurance meetings I am one of the only ABA providers represented. This lets me know that the company I work for is making a difference and offering these families the best of the best! I have been with this company for 6 years and have no intentions of leaving.

Cons

It would be nice to observe more federal holidays.

Pros

BCBA's and Techs are so dedicated to these kiddos and work with them 1:1 daily! All of the clinics have a team atmosphere and work together to achieve daily goals for the clients. The leaders of this wonderful company care about their staff and give back in so many ways. There are just so many amazing things happening at ABLE and I am so blessed to be apart of it.

Cons

No Cons here. Maybe that I don't get enough high fives or hugs daily from the kids. :-)

Pros

Clinic, 40 hours…but not really

Cons

Miscommunication Lauryn Hill!!! No one can spout off the same policy correctly nor is it written down. Management shouldn’t be management because I had more experience than my boss who knew nothing that I needed to know. Communication is SLOW. No official job training for RBTs or BCBAs. No CPI or QBS. HR is rude. They make promises they can’t keep. Bound between the walls for 8.5 hours as a BCBA even when the building was empty, NO KIDS, I wasn’t allowed to work from home and I could’ve done more there. When you leave because your miserable, they take a week of pay from the BCBAs and don’t pay out PTO. Also, if you have PTO scheduled, they don’t let you use it. Just don’t do it. Don’t don’t don’t. I’ve been a professional in this career for 10 years and haven’t seen it this bad yet. BCBAs aren’t paid enough to do the expectations of supervising and running a clinic with no one helping. You’re on an island. It’s awful.
