Pros

I have worked with ABLE for a little over 1 year. I have loved the opportunities I've been given so far with my time here and look forward to continuing to help the company grow. Some opportunities I've had include learning how to build a clinic from the ground up/operating a clinic and supporting BCBAs starting/operating their own clinics within the company. Work/life balance is great as the day ends by 430pm. I don't feel that I have to bring any work home with me, and feel supported by upper management for this balance too. Overall support from corporate employees is high. I feel I can be honest/open when there is an issue needing to be solved, and confident I will have support as needed for challenging situations if needing assistance. My favorite part of working at ABLE is being able to see ALL of the amazing progress of our clients. Each time I visit a clinic I look forward to getting updates on new milestones clients are achieving, and seeing how proud RBTs/BCBAs are as a result of their hard work to help the clients become more independent.

Cons

Observing more federal holidays would be awesome.

Pros

The pros of working with a team whose mission is to provide resources to assist with school readiness? I mean, each day we are actively Achieving Beyond Life’s Expectations. The name says it all. I have worked with ABLE Kids under many hats - RBT, Case Manager/Clinical Assistant, and BCBA. Under each role I have felt an incredible amount of support; especially during a time in which my health took a turn for the worse. They supported me through it and coming out of it I felt empowered. ABLE Kids touches the lives of the individuals we serve, yes, but the work we put in does not go unnoticed. The CEO makes sure we are reminded of this through his words and more importantly his actions. The main take away is how I have worded working with ABLE Kids - I am proud to say I do not work FOR a company, but WITH a company each day to support individuals become school ready.

Cons

Cons - when I am away from my office and not with the kiddos, all I think about is the next time I’ll be back in the office and with the kiddos. I love my job. I love going to work. It bring happiness to my soul and fires me to do better and explore off the wall ideas; especially since the team is amazing and supportive. My off the wall ideas are supported and that’s all I could ask for. Essentially, my con is a pro.

Pros

Watching our team of clinicians and RBT's make such an exceptional difference in the lives of growing children! Watching children blossom and succeed in transition to school! We are offered generous PTO, have the weekends off and can balance our work/family lives. Being able to be home in the evenings and be a mom to my own children is vital to me as a single parent. ABLE Kids gives me this opportunity to do just that!

Cons

I would love to have service hours to volunteer in different programs in the community that I would not have to use PTO for.
