Pros

Most truthful, honest and upfront company that I have worked for, in this field and others. They really want to help children and staff. Most empathetic and understanding company BY FAR If you are teachable, they will show you the way gauranteed hours, consistent pay, BENEFITS ARE AMAZING PTO The giving nature 25 billable requirement CEUs Supportive from the top down Work Life Balance

Cons

40 hours in clinic is tough to get used to (The WFH days really help) Pay could be a bit higher for both RBTs and BCBAs. (The culture and benefits alone are worth a small base pay difference compared to other companies. Bonuses are quite easy to get so this isn't even really a complaint) That is literally all.

Pros

Not enough to name but good benefits. Other than that I have nothing nice to say. If you aren't shipped off to another clinic when a client cancels they pay you for the day to do admin work. It's a good way for someone who is in a program to get paid indirect hours.

Cons

Extremely unprofessional supervisors(BCBA's in clinic and Regional). You will be made aware that you are replaceable and expendable. If your client is having behavior, good luck because no one is coming to help. They expect you to travel all over the CSRA if they need a substitute with very little if any notice. When you arrive at these clinics to fill in you are given little to no info on the client and then expected to have them for 4 hours with no help. You aren't given a tour of the clinic or even told where the clients belongings are. You are told to read their client info in their session and told good luck. It's ridiculous, and if the client has behavior you might get help from the lead or clinical assistant if they have one or aren't off doing something on the computer. They never put CA's or leads on the floor to cover call outs they would rather make you drive 30 minutes to sub while the CA and lead sit around "making materials". If you have any grievances you will be retaliated against even though they claim to have an open door policy. If you complain too much or care about the clients health and safety enough to call out when sick then you are fired lol. A big rule is no gossip however that is all anyone at the company does. BCBA's have favorites and will make that known. They also pay very little for the amount of work you do. You have to spend the last 30 minutes of your day cleaning while also having to complete a long drawn out session note that has way too many rules. Even if your client picks up late you are expected to finish your chores unless someone is nice enough to help you and its usually not a supervisor. BCBA's will also let RBTs in their inner circle pick and chose what clients they do and don't want to work with. Overall they have good benefits and if you are anything other than an RBT you will have a nice office job.

Pros

Absolutely incredible experience at Able Kids! A true game-changer for families. As the Outreach Coordinator for Able Kids for the past three years, I've had the distinct privilege of witnessing firsthand the profound and positive impact this company has on the lives of children with autism and their families. It's not just a job for me; it's a calling, and being part of the Able Kids team has been an incredibly rewarding journey. From the moment a family connects with us, they are met with warmth, understanding, and a genuine commitment to their child's success. The dedication of every single team member – from the RBTs and BCBAs to the administrative staff – is truly exceptional. They are highly trained, passionate, and consistently go above and beyond to provide individualized, evidence-based ABA therapy that truly unlocks each child's unique potential. I've seen shy, non-verbal children blossom into confident communicators, and families who once felt lost find hope and practical strategies. The personalized approach, focus on functional skills, and integration of play and naturalistic teaching methods make learning enjoyable and effective. Able Kids fosters an environment where children feel safe, supported, and celebrated for who they are, while consistently challenging them to grow. The parent training and support offered are invaluable. Our team empowers parents with the tools and knowledge to continue progress at home, creating a consistent and supportive environment for the child. The communication is always open, transparent, and collaborative, ensuring that families are active partners in their child's therapy journey. If you're seeking an ABA provider that combines clinical excellence with genuine compassion and a family-centered approach, look no further than Able Kids. I wholeheartedly recommend them without hesitation. They don't just provide therapy; they build futures, one child at a time. It's an honor to be part of such a remarkable organization.
