Pros

Great local company to work for, a very relaxed office atmosphere providing you are working hard (of which I think is fair) nice people who make you feel part of the team including the senior management and board of directors who are very approachable and you can have a laugh and a joke with them…and often we have a drink in the pub after work, I like that the senior management are involved in the day to day activities and sit amongst their individual teams within the business. Pros: The Company works hard on staff wellbeing such as free breakfast every morning, monthly gym membership contribution, child care vouchers, annual pay review, on a number of occasions management will arrange for staff to have massages in the office too which I think is a nice touch. I specifically enjoy the realistic work life balance the business offers such as flexible working hours and the option to work from home when needed on an ad hoc basis. In addition to our holiday entitlement the company provides staff with an extra 10 hours per year to play with for leave earlies or start lates. They offer lots of training and courses of which the company pay for .

Cons

Cons: Not many options for where to eat during lunch due to location accept the 2 cafes and a pub restaurant. Parking isn’t great very limited spaces, office needs a staff chill out area as currently only a canteen with normal tables and chairs, working days can be long 0830-1730 and often asked to attend lunch and learn sessions during lunch hour.

Pros

Great portfolio and value added proposition, buoyant market with superb opportunities. Young team with a great attitude and culture, going to work is both rewarding and enjoyable.

Cons

We have a great selection of fruit in the free breakfasts, sometimes the apples are a little powdery, I would recommend buying in season to ensure freshness

Pros

Nice colleagues, Free breakfast and football on Tuesday. Directors are at least human. They converse and mix with the normal staff and don't shy away in offices all day. They are friendly and always up for a laugh and a joke.

Cons

Poor pay (20-24k) with a very low commission, terrible location, long work hours (8:30am to 5:30pm) - the working hours would be fine but because of the office location, if you don't drive you better be quick out the office or you're going to miss the train which comes every 30 minutes and when there's cancellations (which happens more than I would like) all hell breaks loose :( . There's nowhere to go for break, it's incredibly dreary. Just the location itself can put you off the whole place and make you not want to work. There are a lot of bullies in Academia, especially in TL/ senior management positions. Commission structure is terrible (many in the sales team agree but fear speaking out). Benefits are ok, Gym (up to £40 P/M), free breakfast, payments towards dentist, optician, massages etc via Health-shield, which also has some nice discounts. HR team you cannot fault, always smiley and friendly (although they may not like this review, sorry ladies).
