Pros

Helpful and amicable co workers. There is flexibility in terms of work schedule (at least in my department) and senior managerial staff is willing to accommodate towards your needs.

Cons

With a large company such as Accel, sometimes it is difficult to get fully acquainted with workers from different departments.

Pros

-If you don't have as much experience as you'd like in your given field, Accel is a great company to work for. They are great about letting you learn new skills -The people are the greatest asset. Everyone works hard and (most of) your co-workers would drop anything to help you -Swag. They do a great job of always providing shirts, hoodies, etc to make you feel like a valued member of the team. -Benefits have improved recently -Recently bought out and went public, which I have faith will fix the leadership issues.

Cons

-Turnover in every department. HR itself has turned over multiple times alone that it gives you a sense that the company will never have it together. In fact, it was a running joke if you didn't get a response from HR that "they probably all got fired again." -Once you get experience, you'll need to leave and work elsewhere to get the compensation you deserve. Pay raises are a joke and multiple people left after either getting no raise or a 1% raise. (BDM's are making hand over fist and will gladly tell you about their commission checks to make you feel even worse about your crap raise.) -0 diversity in leadership - specifically diversity in thinking. They are very proud that most of their hires come from referrals, but everyone thinks exactly the same (and looks the same, but that's another story) -Favoritism is well-known and widely accepted - especially among the different regions -Bigotry and misogyny is the norm. The company really needs to focus on D&I.
