Pros

Working from home is the only pro.

Cons

1. Working for incompetent leadership 2. Poor salary that’s below market value. We are only given 2% raises every few years. LVN salary starts at $21 an hr. 3. Nepotism in the hiring process. My manager hires a lot of her personal friends and then shows those team members favoritism. 4. No growth opportunity. The manager only hires personal friends for supervisor positions. 5. leadership attempts to micromanage even though they don’t understand the job. 6. Watching accentcare outsource private health care information to India is a huge concern. AccentCare has outsourced cheap labor to this country and gives them full access to patients’ private information. The outsourced company has access to Patient telephone numbers, insurance information - addresses , social security numbers, and patient health history. 7. The outsourcing company employees’ are very incompetent and poorly trained. They are not held accountable for their mistakes and their mistakes fall on staff to fix. 8 . Sometimes upper management refuses to back fill positions and this just gives you more work. The workload is unrealistic. At times you may be expected to handle 3 or 4 peoples work load. 9. HR is not supportive and reaching out to them makes you a target for the manager.

Pros

Decent Benefits and a 6% 401K match.

Cons

This company is very disorganized and is in a state of flux right now. Unfortunately, there seems to be a culture of "don't tell dad" here. Local leadership will not or cannot make serious recommendations to improve patient care and employee experience for fear of being targeted as a "squeaky wheel". Consequently there are multiple systemic problems that affect quality and patient care. They seem to be trying to implement new technologies to improve things but they are too Data driven up top. They aren't interested in finding out the dynamics of what their employees are doing and what their patients are experiencing. This forces them to be very census driven rather than being driven to build a sustainable program built on quality outcomes for patients. There are also very few opportunities for career growth if you're not an RN.

Pros

The people here are very dedicated to their patients. They work hard and care deeply about the work they do. The managers really help everyone solve problems and get the patients the care they need.

Cons

Sometimes it is a lot of work, but it is really good work and it makes you feel good knowing you are well supported and can go to your bosses and teammates.
