They Do Not Care About Their Employees

Pros

A paycheck if that is even a Pro

Cons

Steer clear from this company, they do not care about their employees. They try micromanaging you to the extreme and even attempted to prevent employees from carrying cell phones irrelevant to their families and needs. Management is inept at making responsible decisions and play favorites when it benefits them and their personal needs regardless of productivity. Especially when it comes to promotions. Now we are dealing with a pandemic situation in the corona virus, which should be understood from a medical industry standpoint, yet they are forcing their administrative associates to continue coming into the office while the CEO sits at home comfortably protecting himself and his family. They disregard the fact that the admins all have laptops and no need to be in the office during these times to get their work done but instead continue to force them into an office while most other companies are implementing common sense practices to protect their associates. Only option they are providing employees is to take PTO or stay home without pay irrelevant to the fact that as a medical profession they should understand that a pandemic means the situation is of serious concern.

Nightmare workplace

Pros

Working with seniors and advocating for people with disabilities is important and can be rewarding

Cons

Accentcare demolished the positive culture that Fairview Home Care and hospice had going. The acquisition was process full of unfulfilled promises and dishonest communication, a complete overhaul of company structure, processes, and productivity expectations. Morale amongst clinicians has Tanked and turnover has been outrageous, with leadership failing to acknowledge what's going on. Employees feel like they are not valued. Concerns raised to leadership go without responses or acknowledgement. There are extremely unethical practices with regards to ensuring payment for services that may not be appropriate for patients. The company is not forthcoming about being owned by a global private equity firm. Money is what drives this ship 100%. Productivity expectations are Beyond manageable and there is no emphasis on work/ life balance. Changes happen abruptly, often without explanation. Remaining clinicians feel overworked and abused and devalued while new hires are celebrated because of desperate need for Staffing. Productivity expectations are unmanageable and patient experience is no longer a driver of service. This company's attempt to expand into the Midwest territory has been a ridiculous failure, a sinking ship that no one is willing to acknowledge. People with 10, 20, 30 years of experience are leaving, sometimes with no replacement job because of all of this and overall health of clinicians is tanking. No signing bonus is worth this horrible employee experience.
