Pros

Free bagels on Friday for those in the office. It's a paying job.

Cons

My notes are a collection of experiences, observances, and feedback received from others. Very little to no training. Constant feeling of being set up for failure instead of set up for success - in most departments. Favoritism all over, in so many ways - all the employees see and feel it. Many of the employees believe management does not care about their employees, because nothing ever changes for the good of the employee....until you give notice, which at that point, then they will show they "appreciate" you, but it's not because you deserve it, but because they can't afford to lose you. Excessive negativity. Extreme low morale. The software has constant major issues, therefore those at the front of the line constantly feel the brunt of the customers. They overload and overburden you with very little assistance from direct managers. Very little praise and positives passed around. Some managers are known to give you their secretarial work and other managerial duties that THEY should be handling. Working fully remote is on a per employee selected basis. If you are required to go to the office, do not expect cleanliness. The cubicle walls look like they are full of dust, dirty and dingy. The desks are unsafe where many have boxes, books or magazines are holding them up, and are missing drawers or have drawers/doors that do not close. Many chairs are broken - missing pieces or torn up. The appearance is truly outdated and not positive to the eye. Do NOT be fooled by some of the reviews in here. There is no way things are THAT good.

Pros

employees get paid on time.

Cons

The owners have created an abysmal work environment. Nearly 100% of the staff literally hates their job. The moral is at an all time low, and the owners do not care at all. The owners not only resist improving anything, they are dead set against it. Employees are not valued at all. The rules for each employee is different (depending on how much they are liked, and how much leverage they wage against the company). Raises are supposed to be annually, but rarely are and when you finally get a raise, your are supposed to be grateful for the whole $1k/yr (less than cost of living). They intentionally misclass employees as salaried so that they do not have to pay proper overtime and of course expect employees to work at least 10 hours o/t a week. This company is all talk and no action. They hold dozens of meeting to "improve" things, yet they actually DO nothing to improve. It will always be the same....because the owners refuse to change and do not see a reason to do so. Do yourself a favor....stay away.

Pros

They give the impression that the company is doing well. Has been in business for a long time.

Cons

I have given one star because you cannot give no stars. The communication is non-existent, internally or externally. They are constantly doing whatever the OWNERS want completed with little or no regard to the customer input. They have rolled out a new piece of the software platform (not even the entire platform, but just a portion of the platform) and have been having bugs/ issues since June. Every quarter end the 941 form's don't work since the IRS incorporated changes because of FFCRA and Covid Credits. How are they even still in business? The customers are cranky because nothing works like it should, and service gets the brunt of client dissatisfaction. But no one seems to care that the client's are not happy with the product. If 80% of their client base accepts the limitation of the software they are not interested in the least to try to tackle the issues 20% of the clients are upset with. No wonder why they have to constantly try to get new business.
