Pros

Acelero is very mission driven and focused on closing the achievement gap for Head Start children and families. Sometimes they try to do too much all at once to close the achievement gap. The company continues to get better at creating structure and systems that work. I like the amount of time off - it is 30+ days off a year. There is also a ton of advancement opportunity. The company is maturing but still has a lot of energy.

Cons

There are long hours sometimes, but if you are committed to the mission then it makes it easier. We have 30+ days off a year. Plus, the company continues to implement new systems that help automate some of the paper- work. The health insurance could be stronger, but it is not bad.

Pros

The hours and schedule are good. The pay is very competitive in the headstart education field. Lesson plans are provided, along with planning time.

Cons

Too many meetings to meet a quota; deadlines that are impossible to meet; waaaaay too much unnecessary paperwork; data, data, data driven.

Pros

Acelero Learning has a great mission. There are a few things that could be improved, as with any company. Single health insurance is a nice package.

Cons

Pay could be better across the board. Salary structure would be better if paid every two weeks versus twice a month. Catered food for children could be better. Locations of programs could be in safer neighborhoods. Family insurance could be more affordable and not out of reach due to how expensive it is.
