Pros

A great place for mid-level professionals to expand their knowledge of the CPG industry. Professionally I was able to really take my skills to another level. Great manager as well as coworkers. Also a great place to jump start your career since every manufacturer is well aware of the magnitude of Acosta in the CPG industry. Great benefits and excellent vacation incentives. Management really concerned to give employees a work-life balance to all corporate employees. Coworkers do really care about their positions and show a great deal of concern overall.

Cons

Not too many talented people working here however it is a great place to catapult yourself to other posistions within or outside of the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. Do not stay here too long because salaries are okay, even though cash bonuses are provided, but do not keep up with other companies of the same/greater scope. Not too many posistions to move upward within the company.

Pros

-Flexible Schedule allows associates to adjust their schedules as neccessary. If you have an appointment in the afternoon, you can start an hour earlier than usual. -Three weeks PTO -Gets you great looking experience for your Resume

Cons

-Mileage reimbursement is poor. When you get your taxes done, be sure to have them adjust for the actual amount the IRS allows you to deduct vs what Acosta pays for mileage -No matter how hard you work or overperform, it isn't rewarded in the form of merit based pay raises. In the time I've been here I've gotten some of the highest scores on my team. In spite of this I've never received a raise. -There is no accountability for your supervisors in the form of 180 reviews. In essence, you don't have a voice because you can't address a matter directly with your supervisor since you're ever conscious of the fact that they control a very heavy part of your performance scores and you don't want to get on their bad side.
