Pros

Freedom to work your schedule. Great work-life balance Professionally rewarding They hire well. The pay has increasingly become more competitive. You’re treated like family. Your family matters to leadership. :) Nice kitchen and game room. Quite diverse. Amazing year-end party. You are truly appreciated. No layoffs due to Covid. Ample breaks and free time. Positive customer experience leadership

Cons

Excitement is gone. Lack of executive direction. They are scrambling to make things work and guessing at best. Bad performance and apathy is rewarded. Blame is easily placed but rarely accepted. Nepotism is rampant-but understandably going to happen with a “family-run” business. Some old school leaders are stuck in the ivory tower and need to either go into the field /listen to customers or just hush and make the requests of customer experience and sales happen. Leadership wants big things to happen, but they don’t prioritize like they do No one operates w/ urgency. New development is random and not prescriptive. If you are not one of the “chosen-ones” you are going to lose out when the company sells.

Very Exciting Changes

Pros

Very family-oriented environment. The CEO speaks of the family atmosphere very often. Even during the pandemic, our leadership was upfront about their goal of not losing any employees, which was a great sigh of relief for folks with family responsibilities. I couldn't be more grateful for that peace of mind. We've been working remotely and still find ways to connect remotely to ensure we continue bonding as team members. There is a ton of positive momentum happening here. It's impressive to see a company of this size having these many benefits and connection points with its employees. While this year has been a rocky year for me, the loss of family members, the fear of getting sick, my work has kept me sane.

Cons

Before the remote working opportunity, I had to deal with a bit of a drive. I'm hoping for more the chance to continue work remotely when things get back to normal.

Pros

-Good work/life balance. -They throw around job titles like nothing I've ever seen. If you want to be a director you can have the title, but not the pay. (Great if you want to get a title and go somewhere else) -You will be looped into a great network of telecom sales teams and companies they sell to that will listen to you. Most of the good employees that have left were snatched up by them as they offered more pay and brighter futures. - Wish I could list more...

Cons

-The company uses outdated software from 2010 that they have made minimal upgrades to. They will sell you on how great it has helped companies transition into a tech savy company with great insight into their operations. In reality, 90% of their competitors have either dissolved or transitioned to different platforms that are more relevant to today's technology. -As a sales rep when customers ask for feature enhancments, it's like putting a note in a suggestion box that never gets opened. No matter how large the opportunities is it will not be answered. -The talent that does work there is either worked to the bone for a fraction of what they are truly worth, or leaves because they realize that they are stuck in a bad situation. -The CFO has forced out people in the company that were truly talented that put in their time, and the CEO did absolutely nothing to try and rectify the situation. -80% of the plans that they lay out during their annual and bi-annual meetings never come to fruition. They dump hundreds of thousands of dollars into these initiatives that are poorly planned, and eventually dissolve.
