Pros

The company used to have pro's many years ago but now days morale is at an all time low within the company due to a lack of proper leadership and direction.

Cons

* Low pay * Archaic Business practices * Zero jobs perks and underhanded leadership Like the last review mentioned the company handled COVID at first quite well but once it decided it wanted everyone back in March it has been doing everything it can to find an excuse to fire people. The other month a long time employee got sick and she asked to use 2 PTO days since god forbid she work remote and was given the go ahead. The 2nd day she got a call saying she was a 'no call no show' and then fired since she 'no longer fit with the company culture' though we are all still wondering what culture Acuative allegedly has. Now most recently a long time HR employee asked if she could be remote a couple days a week due to events in her life and, once again, the company refused to budge and so she quit....along with the rest of teh HR department except the Director. You heard that right, the companies ENTIRE HR department has quit. That alone tells you how bad things are here and how far in the other direction you should run as I can guarantee you can find something better.

Pros

It's a foot in the door and at least the office isn't in Cleveland. Management at the Cleveland office itself is passable depending on your department

Cons

In the end the company continues to run itself into the ground due to mismanagement by corporate and the company continues to give no real raises 6 years later even when making more money than previous years which causes them to lose good talent every time they manage to find it. COVID wise it seemed the company was going to be semi competent as most the company went remote in March last year. Now with the vaccines starting things are starting to look up but rather than just wait 2 months for everyone to be vaccinated by May/June the company has decided to start forcing people back in March/April. They've even gone so far as firing someone from a department since she asked to stay remote since her kids still are remote since god forbid someone not be in a tiny office space. Now they want to bring back the ENTIRE NOC in a month all at once when the NOC room is a tiny glass enclosed space with 25 people in it when the entire NOC can easily do their jobs efficiently and well remote just like they have been for the past year. Apparently the upper corporate management people just want to see if they can kill someone all while they likely stay remote themselves over in New Jersey since it's easy to make decisions like this when they don't impact you whatsoever. Also never buy any of the short positive reviews you see here that barely say anything as they are for sure made by HR. If you ignore the negative reviews you'll just be like the many other people who, after getting hired, end up saying 'You know what? All those negative reviews were quite right about this company'.

Pros

Nothing that I can think of right now.

Cons

A lot of bullying from an old lady who the have said themselves that they are afraid to fire due to age discrimination. She has been reported multiple times and plays the victim- boss and HR are blinded by it. Employees are not protected, many have left for this reason. Over worked, under paid and definitely not appreciated.
