new direction from COO seems positive. Field Services and NOC are decently run departments

Everything else.. I have worked for a lot of companies and then there was this mess.. Never have I seen anything like it

Pros

Most of the managers do not micro manage. In fact, most of the managers do not manage at all. This is true for all management from the top down.

Cons

Beware! The positive reviews written during 2014 were all written by the marketing department. If your looking into this company, pay more attention to the prior reviews.

The past is history, focusing on the future

Pros

Opportunities to work on new technologies, change, people, future plans. Overall Acuative had some challenges in the past, as does any "small company". Its what made America a great place to run a business. Competing in the world where the scale of the AT&T and IBM's of the world make it easy to be inexpensive made it a challenge to compete. Now, as the company has grown it has found that it can compete with them without being at the expense of its employees. There are processes in place, and people are starting to be held accountable.

Cons

systems are old, but they work. At times the company forgets to communicate and the employees don't have clear visibility into what's going on. Also we need to "clean up" some of the old minds that are around, making sure they're embracing the changes and not pushing them off.
