Pros

My mom recently passed from a 2 year battle with cancer. Literally everyone from Todd and Andrea to Chloe in HR, Ann in Benefits, my Reginal Manager Craig C, and my agents Joseph and Paul went above and beyond to make sure I was able to spend time with my mom during her last few months. My FMLA was approved even though I hadn't hit one year yet, they've all checked in on me during my absence, and I got a beautiful flower arrangement when my mom passed. No other company feels like a family as Adam's does. Dr. Mohammed is an amazing teacher and continues to help even after you "graduate". Furthermore, they care about EVERY employee and reward hard work. If you're good at your job, literally everyone in the company will know your name and you'll be greated by name every time you walk into the office. I found my niche in life as a PCA with Adam's and have no desire to work anywhere else.

Cons

Long hours if you're in the field, which I personally love. Don't apply if you don't like a challenge.

Pros

Professional and Passionate Management that will work with you and understand work/life balance. Experienced and helpful coworkers and support staff Decent/Competitive Pay, especially considering the various opportunities for raises Work is demanding, but not complicated. Having an open mind, being eager to learn, and having even a tiny bit of charisma will allow you to go far.

Cons

PTO accrual is slow, and you only get 3 paid sick days in a year. If you have any serious illness, family emergencies, weddings/funerals, you likely won't be able to take a paid vacation for a few years. How good of a day you have is significantly dependent on the Scheduling Agent you get. Poorly organized routes, not adhering to account/scheduling notes, and a lack of understanding (Agents are largely hired from rural areas, and have little to no familiarity with city traffic patterns; they also can be very out of touch with the duties technicians actually perform) make some technicians jobs miserable.

Thank you for taking the time to review our work environment, benefits and team. We strive to be an employer of choice and appreciate feedback from our employees to continually improve our company and culture. Your comments regarding management, coworkers and support staff are one of the reasons we feel Adam’s is an employer of choice. We continue to be impressed with the helpfulness from our employees whether they are in the field, an agent scheduling for our technicians or one of our support staff in the office. We also encourage those who have concerns regarding scheduling to inform their agents and managers to discuss possible solutions. At Adam’s we understand that the benefits we offer are an important part of our employees' employment decisions and lives. One benefit of our new sick time off policy is you are able to roll those hours over year after year with no cap on the amount of hours. In regards to PTO, a full time employee starting with Adam’s, depending on the position, will accrue between 2 and 3.5 weeks of vacation. This amount does increase at different rates depending on your tenure with the company. Benefits are one of the many areas Adam’s reviews on an ongoing basis to ensure we are providing the best options that fit our employees needs. We appreciate you taking the time to review Adam’s and provide your feedback as we continue to grow and strive to be an employer of choice.

Pros

I truly enjoy the work that I do and those that I work with. Coming to a smaller family owned company from a large corporation was the best move I have ever made for me AND my family. When I have made mistakes, I am supported and feel I can grow. When I am successful, I feel appreciated. When I feeling the need for more of a challenge, I am trained on some new tasks.

Cons

Honesty, I have no complaints, Benefits are affordable, but cost a little more than when I was with a large corporation...which totally makes sense...Did I mention my rates have not increased in 3 years though? That is a BIG deal!
