Pros

There is a lot of freedom to do what you would like here.

Cons

Poor work life balance and the workload was too much for how few people we had working there.

Pros

-The people. My boss was great. -Good beginner experience at newspapers.

Cons

-Low pay. Target pays more per hour. Oh, and you need a degree. -Hours are nuts. And you're not allowed to clock in overtime. -During COVID, hours dropped for everyone down to 30 hours due to lack of funds, while the CEO purchased a new jet. -Lack of team work. Everyone is in charge of their own paper, and there isn't any feedback. -Worked here for three years. Never got a pay raise. From the day I started to the end, I was being paid $14.25 per hour.
