Pros

good start to the recruitment industry if you're entry level

Cons

This company has completely fallen off. Little to no investment from upper executives in their NYC office. You would think one of the biggest markets they can be in, they'd want it to succeed. Instead, they pay horribly and doesn't even compete with the rest of the market. Little to no training or assistance to transition new hires into the recruitment world. Promoting producers to managers is also a god awful idea. Just because they know how to close and make deals DOES NOT qualify them as good managers or leaders. This place will also pretend to care about their candidates when in reality they're just a number to them. Keegan Stemmer of the IT team in NYC is incredibly rude to candidates and often scares them out of a job by speaking down to them and in turn blames the recruiters for these things. She along with the rest of the management team in NYC does not collaborate and is strictly out for themselves. It is a shame because when I first joined it was incredible and within 1 year things changed drastically and are going down hill. I need to leave ASAP

Pros

None. Nothing positive in this experience.

Cons

I applied and met with an agent. Received a lot of verbal promises but no backup. Spoke of high paying jobs in my field but nothing to back it up. Instead they found creative ways of giving me reasons i was not qualified. Not impressed. My past work history discredited there response. Always received high recommendations. Negative experience dealing with this company

Pros

Some good people work there.

Cons

Management cares only about numbers, not about its employees or candidates. Terrible benefits. Keep recruiters tied to their desks. No flexibility in working from home. No work/life balance.

Addison Group Response

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We take feedback to heart and use it to improve. We are disappointed to read about your experience, as we never want anyone to feel that they were not valued. While we currently do not have a specific work from home policy, we pride ourselves on offering flexibility and an emphasis on work/life balance. We do offer Results-oriented work hours and vacation package flexibility. We understand that staffing is not for everyone and it can sometimes be overwhelming. We do offer support and training and encourage anyone feeling overwhelmed to reach out for help. We are sorry your employment did not end on a good note but we wish you the best in your future endeavors.
