Pros

- I was able to pay my bills because I had a job - Working at this company, you feel like you've hit rock bottom so you know you're only going up from there

Cons

- It was like management competed to see who could be the most immature and unprofessional - The pay is much lower than what our competitors offered their recruiters - You will be expected to work evenings and weekends because the most important thing is putting money in your managements pocket - Management will expect you to be subserviant and noncombative for if your opinion clashes with theirs and you so dare to voice it, be prepared for them to pull you into a room and threaten your job. - There will be gossip groups and cliques but if you're an actual adult and choose to refrain from immersing yourself in either of those, you won't be valued. (management also has their favorites and supports only those they deem worthy enough for them) - You will be trained not to be honest with people and expected to lie to your candidates if it means making the company some money.

Here at Addison Group we try to build and encourage a positive workplace for every one of our employees. We were happy to see that some of your co-workers were great to work with but it is unfortunate that you had to work for a manager that you disliked so much. We appreciate your input on your work experience with us because pointing these types of things out helps build a better future for our company. We are currently doing our best through company surveys to ensure that our employees are satisfied with the workplace and their management. Hopefully this research can help draw attention to the “cons” you pointed out in your review and we can quickly eradicate them if it turns out other employees feel the same way. We wish you the best of luck in the future.

Pros

Nice office and salary + commission.

Cons

If you don’t make money for the company, they don’t want you there. Inappropriate and sexual comments are made multiple constantly and they think that saying these things after hours mean it is okay (even though they make these jokes in the office as well). When managers reported sexual harassment this one time, the guy was promoted to manager months later. They will call people snowflakes for not liking their offensive jokes. They’ve made r*pe jokes with witnesses, they make fun of ethnic names, they’ve made multiple offensive jokes that would ruin their career (if HR takes it seriously). A team will leave the office at 3PM to get hammered and then brag about “working 60 hours a week”. They’ve made comments about attractive waitresses while they are married with kids. I have a very long list of things they do and have done with witnesses and these witnesses include managers. Every single one of young people in the office are incredible people. This will not be their full time career, they have bright futures ahead of them. I have more to say, but I’m sure it won’t be approved to be published on this website. With the exception of a few managers, managers will smile in your face and then complain about you behind your back like mean girls. Luckily for me, this is not my career and is just a temporary job in my 20s. They hire fresh grads on purpose. I would look into a different career or company to work for. You won’t get promoted and you won’t get a raise. Plain and simple. Good luck on your job search.
