Pros

Allowed for a good work/life balance

Cons

Extreme micromanaging from managers who aren't producing themselves, lack of follow through with trainings and meetings, favoritism to selective team members that prevent others from performing/excelling, the lack of growth opportunities within and overall poor team structures.

I regret to hear that you had this experience at Addison Group. Addison Group prides itself on the training/resources offered to our employees and focus on the team as opposed to the individual. We always strive to improve, so this feedback is helpful as we look at our structure and expectations from leadership.

Lack of true leadership

Pros

Paycheck- you can fly under the radar since managers are only in their seat for 20 hrs ish a week. ( I know the management team goes to casinos while their team works)

Cons

You will be expected to do what management says to do. There is a huge gap between local branch leadership and the people who are out selling and recruiting here. Addison group is okay having managers in the branch disappear for 4-6 hrs and not be held accountable for their production or where they even are. The management in this office will demand recruiters hit a certain number and the employees who are meant to be the ones out doing the cold calling, they are not held to same standard. Addison also pushes the recruiters to get all these leads for the sales team that is NOT out doing their job. Management in the office is local but their immediate supervisors come in once or twice a week from another region. When these employees come in its a big deal and to-do but they do not get to the root cause of the under lying issues. Just tell you to keep getting leads as a recruiter and slapping their puppet managers on the back.

Great Place to work

Pros

It's the best company to work for if you want to be in staffing long term. Competitive compensation plans, lots of room to grow and just enough process to keep everyone works towards goals but gives you a lot of freedom to accommodate your clients needs.

Cons

With a company growing as fast as AG there have been some growing pains. The management team seems aware of it and addressing the situation.
