Pros

-Every thursday morning is a credit union wide meeting which offers a line of communication between everybody, including executives. -Great coworkers -Good Benefits -Generally offer some kind of annual merit increase.

Cons

-Executives seem like they no longer care about the “little people” that work for them. When staff tries to communicate their concerns, executives are more worried about burying said concerns instead of addressing them. -Executives very much favor certain people whether theyre good employees or bad ones and will create new positions for them while also doing layoffs. -They will lay off or get rid of good employees that are actually personable and good at what they do and keep the bad ones that are toxic just because they suck up to the executives/become friends with the executives. -Growth within the company is not as good as it used to be, with opportunities to move up, but generally only if the executives/managers like you. -Definitely nobody gets paid enough in any role to handle the amount of responsibilities they are required to do for said role. -They’re becoming less and less loyal to the long time tenured employees who have been there 10 plus years. -Managers/Executives will generally NOT like you if you speak up for yourself and have a backbone against them/the politics of the company. -Harassed numerous employees to open accounts with them just so they could bolster their numbers under the guise of it being for something else, taking away the consumers choice of where to open a bank account. -the work of the good employees who actually do the bulk of the work to keep the branch/department running will go unrecognized almost 100% of the time. -Most managers and most executives do not practice what they preach to the staff, ever.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for your individual experience and encourage you to contact our HR team to discuss your concerns further. We are committed to addressing them promptly. At Addition Financial, we prioritize our team members' well-being and satisfaction through various initiatives: + Regular internal culture surveys and team feedback surveys for actionable improvements. + CEO-led listening tours across branches and departments to ensure issues are addressed. + Updated generous vacation policy based on employee feedback. + Additional paid day off on birthdays and robust education reimbursement. + Competitive benefits package and solid annual performance-based increases. + Internal podcast for clarity and alignment on company vision and actions. + Annual Family Fun Day and a company-wide Summit for team building and collaboration. Regarding the bank account requirement, it was implemented ahead of testing our new digital banking platform. This step ensures our team experiences and helps improve the platform before member rollout, ensuring a seamless transition. The requirement to have an account is only in place when there are new upgrades to test with our banking technology.
