Pros

Pay for Computershare contracted employees seemed pretty good...location was not too far away, but with some distance. Promised 40hrs in the add I applied to.

Cons

The moment we get their we are informed that it is not in fact a 40hr work week, but instead 37.5(you have 30min lunches that take out 2.5hrs from your check) It’s not the people inside working with you that are the problem. It’s the computershare/Adecco management and their malicious ways of rolling o a “new policy” that holds no possible way of retrieving it. When asked why terminate me? The woman simply said computershare policy to deflect the question of why the policy was not sent out or communicated to the entire floor(staff) . When reminded of how many weeks and MONTHS it’s been since I and the rest of my coworkers have been practically begging the representative to email us this alleged “policy”. I even brought it up to my amazing TL and yet no response. Even when confronted with termination of my contract for an imaginary policy that was never sent out. This Edison location was one of the worst experiences as far as micromanaging and harassment to hard workers whom they put in these training positions to them be devalued by imaginary rules. The company does not value you. In a long story short, we were basically called thieves after money went missing from the higher up’s purse. Instead of reviewing the (2) cameras her purse sits under, she instead proceeds to call her 80 staff members passive aggressively calling us thieves and horribly “trying” to relate by using words like “desperate” and “hard times” when we all take pride in how we work and how we conduct ourselves. The ever-changing environment spiel is just an excuse to say I can tell you all the wrong information and therefore show my indecisiveness as a company, however I am going to continue to care about all the wrong things instead of communication between the teams to have us all move on one accord with no miscommunications, which is what matters the most. When we all were on the same page the productivity boomed. The bad part is people literally made rules up as they went, and to solidify it they never put it in writing or let any of us PHYSICALLY SEE any policy.
