      Bad atmosphere, poor management, poor communication

      Pros

      Good health insurance, good people running production and in office. Good safety, security in building. Somewhat flexible hours. Good vacation benefits.

      Cons

      Poorly managed - managers aren’t skillful and make bad decisions causing good people to leave after decades. This business has tunnel vision for OEM - can’t understand or appreciate variation where it existed very successfully in the past. They claim to want to expand the business to new sectors but are shutting down those other sectors that they just acquired due to failure to identify the need for process variation. Processes in the purchased sector were very efficient but management failed to recognize it and now it seems they will shut the new sectors down altogether.

      A great work environment to come to on a daily basis.

      Upper level management is stuck in a mass quantity world and it is tearing our company apart from a quality perspective.

      Pros

      There are absolutely no pros to working for this company except for the fact that they have 2 time clocks side by side so you can punch out quicker.

      Cons

      No accountability. If you don't feel like doing your job, you really don't have to and there are no repercussions. Supervisors have to ask permission from HR to write you up anyway. Tons of hours and you never know if you will be forced to stay over from day to day. Not fully staffed in management and no plans to do so. Zero communication at any level of operations. Summertime is hotter than most factories because of all the laser welders and there is minimal ventilation because they simply don't care about you.
