Pros
Most people I worked (my level and below) with were very nice and helpful. I learned a great deal about various aspects of the industry and many consumer products and companies.
Cons
Poor supervision. Most everyone is on overload. Unreasonable expectations. Lack of recognition for work - only lip service and little of that. I had a supervisor who was on so much overload I was not even given minimum training. He was more interested in keeping a log of anything I did wrong than giving help and support. I was directed to do the same for anyone that I supervised. I don't work like that. Upper management was exceptionally poor and indecisive. I have several friends still employed with ASM who are extremely unhappy. They are counting their days until retirement or looking for something else. The jobs are getting more demanding and the unreasonable expectations are growing.
