Working at Advocate Construction has been an incredible experience for me. From day one, I felt supported by a team that genuinely wants to see each other succeed. The leadership is solid, the training is top-notch, and the company’s core values—especially integrity and responsibility—really show in how we do business. One of the best parts of this job is the opportunity to grow, both personally and financially. The commission structure rewards hard work, and the company gives you all the tools you need to succeed. Plus, the team culture is amazing—everyone is motivated, supportive, and willing to help each other out. If you’re looking for a place where you can build a real career in construction sales, I’d definitely recommend Advocate Construction.

Self-Discipline Required – There’s a lot of freedom in this job, but that also means you have to be extremely disciplined to stay on top of your pipeline.

Pros

Truck reimbursement, not an office job, outside almost all of the time. Culture was fine, CEO seemed like a nice guy.

Cons

Working Saturdays, must produce a lot of business to exceed retainer and start earning commissions. If you purchase a truck for the job and use the reimbursement to pay for it, obviously the loan won’t go away if you quit or get another job. High pressure to get homeowners to file a claim on their insurance even if damage is not evident on first inspection. ‘Unlimited PTO’ means you will be made to feel like a lazy idiot if you need to take a day off for anything.
